Snack companies have spent decades and billions making snacks kids crave.
Healthy snack companies have spent decades trying to convince parents.
Nobody built one that does both.
Kids don't care about vitamins or health claims. They care about whether a snack is fun, crunchy, and the same every time. That's why most healthy snacks lose. Not because kids don't like healthy food.
Because they were never designed for kids in the first place.
We think that's backwards.
So we designed Owlies the same way the biggest snack companies design theirs, starting with what kids actually want.
The first ingredient in most kids' snacks is sugar. Or juice concentrate, which is sugar with a better haircut.
After that comes rice flour, tapioca starch, natural flavor, and a list of things you'd have to look up.
The front of the bag says fruit. The back says something else.
So we took all of it out. No added sugar. No concentrate. No flour, no starch, no binder. Just fruit and veg.
Freeze-drying pulls the water out of fruit without cooking it. What's left is the fruit itself, just light and crunchy instead of soft and wet.
Real blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, plus veg. Nothing concentrated, nothing reconstituted.
Frozen, then dried under vacuum. No heat, so nothing gets cooked out.
Light, crunchy, and gone in a second. No wet bite, no mushy middle.
That texture is the trick. It crunches, then it disappears, which is exactly what a picky eater can't argue with.

If you can't pronounce it, it isn't in here. Mostly because it isn't in here at all.
